Invitation from the Director of Galeria Aniela, Ms Aniela Kos, to meet a number of important Aboriginal Australian artists, while she was involved in the making of a documentary project. I focused on meeting Paddy Japaljarri Stewart, from Mungapunju, south of Yuendumu, now resident in Alice Springs. I was involved in making preliminary drawings and sketches to be worked on and then later made into a very large portrait.
Invitation from the Director of Gallerie Australis, David Cossey, to make preliminary drawings and sketches of notable Indigenous artist Kathleen Petyarre, and the later project of big portrait. Part of the time spent there was also to exchange ideas and introduce new techniques to the other artists working in the studio.
